Morning all ! I hope you are all doing ok.

The first four episodes of “A Decade Decayed” – my review of 10 years of fighting leukaemia have been published.

It’s been a strange process.

You know me – once I get involved in something new, I kinda pour my heart and soul into it. I became obsessed with learning how to make YouTube videos and how to edit properly. The content flowed fairly easily but understanding how to make decent quality episodes didn’t really mature until episode 4.

I was never worried about whether a lot of people would watch them, but it did bother me whether they would be liked by those who did watch them.

I know there will inevitably be those who criticise me for doing them, or say they are attention seeking, or accuse me of holding a pity party or whatever.

But you know what? Fuck ’em. I don’t do this for them. I make them for me in exactly the same way as I’ve always written these blogs: I write them for me. I write them to get the poisonous destructive stuff out of my head, to try to stop me from giving in to depression and defeat.

But as I’ve said a million times, if they help just one single person anywhere at any time, then I could not be happier. There is no greater gift than to help a fellow human being, and to be given that gift is indeed a blessing.

And as usual, I’ve wandered off topic. What a surprise.

So back on track: The first four episodes are published now (link below). I’d be really interested to know what you think of them. Honest (but kind) feedback would be hugely appreciated – what do you like/ not like.
